Hi, I am Bel! If you have ever stood in a surf break tugging at your bikini top or swimsuit and thought, "there has to be something that is cute, flattering and stays put," then you're exactly like me, and who I made Holiday Sun for.

Living on the Gold Coast, being in the ocean is a big part of our lifestyle and community. Long mornings in the surf, afternoons that stretch into the golden hour, weekend road-trips up and down the coast. The kind of slow, sun-soaked life that makes you never want to wear real clothes. For me, swimwear isn't just something I wear to the beach or I occasionally surf in, it's my every day clothes.

So over the years, I have bought a lot of it! For me, I was getting frustrated with the available swimwear - I would find something cute, that I loved the look of, but when I got into the water, I would spend a lot of time adjusting the strap, or pulling out a wedgy! For the swimwear I could find that would stay put, the trade off was that I didn't feel great. I felt like I was constantly having to choose one or the other.

"I'd find pieces I loved, but they wouldn't survive a wave. Or they'd stay on, but I didn't feel like myself in them. I just wanted both, and I didn't think that was too much to ask."

What really got to me was how little choice there seems to be for the different body types. So much swimwear out there is designed as if we have the same shape, and if something didn't fit correctly, it was easy to feel like the problem was my body type. But it's not, and it never was.

That's why I started Holiday Sun Swimwear. Every piece we carry is curated with real bodies in mind - different shapes, different portions, different needs. Styles that flatter and support you, that stay exactly where they're supposed to whether you're paddling out or lying on the sand, and that give you that feeling where you just feel good.

Holiday Sun is that holiday feeling - sun on your skin, saltwater in your hair, nowhere you need to be, and we are bottling this feeling up in every piece.
